Just another typical activist dipper that didn't like getting called out for her harassment of a public official. She uses social media to air her views but can't take the same without a safe space to cry in. Boo hoo, grow up.
Apparently you missed the independent report on Alberta managing it's own pension plan, much like Quebec has for a long time. That's our money. The results showed it will produce a higher income for seniors with less input from the employees. I would rather see investments handled provincially instead of in the questionable weighted directions of Ottawa. The 4 national parks in Alberta would be ours once again and not hard to manage better than they are now. As an example the Jasper fire wouldn't have happened if Parks had listened to the townsfolk. Treaties 6, 7 and 8 are non-negotiable, the racist Indian act would finally be scrapped, and the nations are welcome to join us in the 21'st century to future prosperity. Don't be so worried about positive change.
This possibly could have been averted many years ago with the granting of a Triple E Senate. Trudeau threw one last slap in the face of Albertans by recently appointing 2 rabid leftists as senators to represent Albertans. Eastern Canada doesn't want any input or share of control from the West, they only want our money. People have to make a choice very soon who they want their alignment with in order to maintain stability in our way of life here in the western hemisphere. My choice sure isn't with Europe, China or the WEF's (and Carney's) vision of a "New World Order". This is our chance to get those monkeys off our back and build a brighter future.
Clear result of the "Elbows Up" born again patriot crowd. Your new messiah corney could negotiate his way through a wet paper bag. Just another reason we would be better off cutting the ties that bind.
Good teachers need to be paid well outside of a union. A pay scale dependent on time served develops complacency. Merit based salary dependent on student performance in critical subjects. And yes over 30 students was normal, even 50 years ago!
Great idea and good locations noted. I've noticed traffic pays attention way more to animal detection systems with the warning lights instead of just a sign. More expensive option but you get what you pay for. Too bad insurance companies couldn't kick in a bit.
Even though he passed a Christmas gift to recall supporters and socialists in his message."Alberta’s Mental Health Helpline is available 24/7 at 1-877-303-2642."
I drove past this yesterday when they were hooking up the van. It looked like a bad one. I agree the medians should be closed or a simple cheap underpass put in much like Hermitage road on #1 west of Calgary. Being as the #2 is a major highway you don't want to slow the flow every few kilometres or it's not practical. Years ago my cousin and his wife were heading south and hit a car pulling across at Hwy 552 which put 3 in hospital. It was almost weekly a constant accident spot. They closed the median and forced traffic either to 242nd Ave with lights or north to the 80km zone. People got used to it and nobody dies.
Revolving door policy by the liberals has created this mess. I'm sure the police are frustrated when they see these lowlifes back on the street over and over.
One way and angle parking is dumb. If you really want to enhance Elma as a commercial district cut some multi level PAID parking into the hill on the north side of Crescent. The way the town is swinging it won't be long until residential is gone there anyway.
