Council's bike lane flip flop costs us more than you think

Yep, plowing of bike lanes in our city is certainly not servicing the greater majority. In fact there is so little use of bicycles during winter compared to vehicles its laughable.Sure, you can say if the lanes were plowed more would use them. Simply not true.Shame on Guthrie for underhandedly changing the budget.

Could we please stop wasting tax payer's money! We have had a "deck" on our Emergency room for more than 6 years.

Why are we wasting so much money changing the downtown core. 161 million? This money would be much better spent on a hospital for Guelph. Our hospital is an embarrassment for a city of our size.I really wish the people were a consideration for what gets decided at city hall!

The city is allowed to put money into a hospital. Donations to a hospital fund are consistently asked for.I realize the province subsidized them but where is ours?Kitchener and Cambridge continue to advance in this area why not Guelph? We are more concerned with a 161 million dollar revamp of a downtown core?Trying to draw people downtown when it is all patios, open drug use and homelessness is futile. Many do not feel safe as stated above as it is far from family freindly.Priorities.

I'm sorry but how would you feel if someone did that on your property without asking? It is not a solution to the problem.
