and why wouldn't they just leave the old stuff there and put the new stuff in early spring.. I'm sure the new equipment isn't going to get much use from October - March and a winter season will take its toll on new equipment before it even gets used by the public?
@JoJoCo I don't see much trade happening. Especially with the Americans.. I don't think many Canadian's can afford their goods anymore due to having their credit maxed, hoping for rate cuts, and begging the Americans to come here and spend their stronger dollar that they have because they have jobs.
So the federal govt is going to take ownership via a buy-in, Ontario is going to make bank via a loan to the plant, billions of dollars are going to be funneled into wealthy private insiders.. and everyone is going to be happy cause they can keep their job at the plant for the next 30-50 years?
I disagree. I'm not saying its any more or less potent.. but what I am saying is the legal cannabis market does not produce accurate test results and are inconsistent by batch and lot. It is overmarked by 5-10% in order to sell. It is pure marketing and advertising.. Kind of like this article..
Also who will these "High-Skilled" jobs be going to? Obviously not locals. Do we have adequate housing for them? Will their kids have first pick and be taking jobs from local that currently are having trouble finding work?I have a million other questions if you have the time to actually answer the medias questions sometime rather than remain silent til its time to pass a motion..
If this guy loses his seat I'll give the conservatives my vote.. but if I have to see our hear this guy for another few years not only will I never vote for them but it'll cost the media a ton of revenue via lost viewers.
I'm not against this.. I just want an estimate of how much this will cost as I doubt the municipality can support this on its own and it will be on the federal tax payors dime. Will it produce anything to help make up the cost? Is this just a way to weasel into some local investment? Tell me what this will do for the community in the long term other than maybe get you another term and help you shake hands-sign deals behind closed doors that the public will not be part of or benefit from. Are either of you two council members putting up some capital for this venture? Do you have a business model and plan? Do you plan on bringing it to the local entrepreneurship meeting to hear their advice? Or is this like we all think it is... a PIPE DREAM!
Thats just it.. We are a small meaningless town that needs to accept it. If Algoma U and Sault College cut half their program admissions. There would be enough housing and jobs for the entire community as well as food security.David created this mess. It is no ones fault but his and he should be accountable for fixing it out of his own pocket.
I'm fine with it as long as they can ensure they will be have security on-site at all times to deter loss from thefts.I could see those panels being an easy target.
I don't believe we "need" the NDP but I do believe we need a 3rd national party to encompass the large amount of people that are not voting for the left or the right. Our largest voter base is not feeling represented and if both the current parties keep trying to push them around it won't grow either side but will grow the central side of the spectrum until the general populace gets fed up and turns on them both. Then both will cry danger as they pump police budgets and try to enforce national security by enacting castle law for their own protection.. not yours.
I've made ~+500% return in the Aerospace industry and am between ~+22-55% in all other sectors since April..I'm sorry you put your elbows up and decided to only support 1 country or stay out of the market altogether.. I really don't understand who isn't loving this volatility other than the people addicted to the biased news..
My elbows have been up to Canada for a long time. I will not pay foreign wages. My money is for Canadians.. Period. If I walk in and see foreign workers I walk out. Scotiabank has lost my business. Walmart has, Food basics/Metro has.. and literally every fast food. I have boycotted to the extent when ordering the memo reads " Tip will be in cash upon delivery and only if it is a white or indigenous Canadian born citizen, any one else and the order will be returned and refunded tomorrow".I can choose to spend my own money how I please and that it does not make me racist or sexist if I don't feel like supporting you or having a difference in opinion. I am free to support those I feel are deserving of support.
Cause I don't feel like paying an extra 3% on my mortgage or $300 extra rent to make up the difference. If you wanna go fight fires.. well have a blast.. go fight fires. Just do it on your own dime and keep your hands outta my pocket.
Here we have people complaining about the American's again with complete disregard with how our municipal, provincial and federal governments handle our own money.Should we maybe just start having monthly draws? If they pick your son, you win a chunk of everyone else's tax dollars to do with what you please? Seems thats how we're doing things anyway with less public input.
I could probably help a good chunk of struggling people from all demographics and agencies with finances, budgeting, and planning.I however am unemployable for life as I have a criminal record.. so best of luck to you all as you clearly do not need my help.Odd the one no one will let handle cash is the one sitting around with all the cash..
@HoundsFanatic Is that why we had air quality warnings off and on all this summer as well as lost. I believe my elderly non-smoking father required puffers, and is being put on oxygen.. Thank you all you "high skill" forest fighters for all your effort and hard work that made keeping this situation under control for the betterment of us all :) /s
