The housing accelerator program grant is 20,000 to 30,000 per unit , the Apartment Construction Loan Program ( taxpayers pay the interest instead of the developer) , HST removal under the new Residental Property rebate program , GST new residential rebate program, just to name the ones I can think of. Theaes are incentives that either give direct grants or reduce costs which also mean less revenue to the province . So ask your self what you are getting in return … the chance to rent a 2700 perMonth apartment .
