Remember when Maggie was elected and became Deputy Mayor, it's normal for new incumbents to have a learning curve (not a rude awakening). Lana didn't get in and the citizens are not disappointed about that. She never responded to the media for questions, she would have gained some faith from the public if she had.

BayToday 2Anyone wondering why North Bay has 3 board members, it's because North Bay has a population over 50,000 and the other 9 municipalities do not (reference the CA Act). The shocking aspect is how Mattawan, or Papineau-Cameron council members are running the organization. Dave Britton did an excellent job as Chair, but again how does a sliver in the Area of Jurisdiction within the Municipality of Powassan allow such a small population's council member to become the leader.North Bay has done more for the CA than any other member municipality. Most members from other small municipalities show up to meetings, eat the catered food and don't say a word when they should be speaking up.
