22I don't like seeing new builds without enough parking.Honestly I think most families have 2 working adults using 2 vehicles. I did say MOST. I know there will be some fringe comment on here about how they gave up their car and do everything by bike or public transit. Good for you.... But realistically I think the majority of households are 2 car. When contractors reduce parking spaces to squeeze out 1 more unit for profit, it impacts the entire neighbourhood. I see requests all the time asking to rent parking spaces and end to end street parking that doesn't' allow for visitors. Expecting every city to be a 15 minute city is unrealistic.

GuelphToday 6I would like to know how many parking spaces for each unit. I find they are reducing to 1 so they can squeeze in 1 more unit for pure profit. Who these days only has 1 car!?!? This will congest the streets as people need to park their second car. Ever drive by Sacred Heart school on Huron St. RIDICULOUS! worse in the winter with snow pile up and cars on both sides. The city needs to step up and put a stop to this!
