I don't understand how the CEO of the Sault area Hospital earns that much, $400,000 plus, seriously??? That overpayment would be better spent in essential equipment needed for the hospital and patients.

I don't see any rudeness here. What is Antoinette Blunt talking about???

It stated in this article that she makes too much money to qualify for geared to income rental units. Well there you go. She makes enough income so she has no reason to complain. Looks like she's just looking for attention and sympathy. She accepted a cash offer in addition to rent free for 5 months so that sounds like a sweet deal to me. And if as her Theory states that the landlord does not end up staying in the rent unit for at least one year, then she can apply to the Ontario landlord and Tenant board for eviction in bad faith.

Who is this Antoinette Blunt anyways? And how much does she get paid???

You're not stating facts you're just stating opinion.

It is not a loophole. Even when the landlord serves a tenant with notice of terminating the tenancy, the tenant does not have to move out and can wait for a hearing. At the hearing that's when an adjudicator here's the evidence and makes a decision. And according to the photos in this article, that's precisely what she did. She waited for a hearing and an order was made.

People will complain regardless. What they don't understand is the company needs to pay for their employees wages not to mention the cost of machinery maintenance.

Obviously you've never experienced having rental property. The landlord (property owner) has the right to a rental unit for either themselves or a family member. But getting a tenant out, is a long waiting period to get a hearing date, at least one year at the minimum.

It's funny how I'm getting thumbs down on my post. I'm just stating facts and what the law dictates. I wasn't stating opinion.

In my opinion teachers deserve a big raise because they have to contend with the generation of today... a bunch of snot nose, disrespectful kids that have had zero discipline at home.

I totally agree. The big question here is, how is the city going to pay for this extravagance?

I beg to differ. Shopping online, not just Amazon but any online website, keeps local people working. The delivery workers that work in this city need a job and people who order online support them with their ordering.

It's important to know because we are paying their salaries!

It's not mistreating anyone. Your post is very naive. You don't know the law apparently. Property owners have a right to a rental unit for either themselves or a family member and must commit to living in the rental unit for a minimum period of one year otherwise it is considered bad faith.

There is no deception involved here! You don't know what you're talking about. As mentioned by Northern snow, their record of snowfall thus far is for city limits. What is reported by The Weather Network is based on the airport area.

Well people with disabilities and Mobility issues cannot just walk into a service ontario.

You are joking right? Anyone earning a six-figure salary does not have to worry about making ends meet.

Since when has Canada Post delivered flyers? With the acception of the Canadian Tire flyer, which were delivered by letter carriers, the bunch of store flyers were delivered by a separate delivery person, not Canada post. My flyer guy must have retired because for several weeks now I have not received my flyers and I contacted post media.
