Developer eyes 79-unit subdivision on Grange Road

Arthur, it is not the responsibility or obligation of the developer or builder to make ANY of this subdivision affordable or gear to income, they are running a buisness, bottom line is to make as much money as they can. Thats the point of a buisness. Further more if this entire subdivision is government subsidized guess who picks up the other half of the cost? Me, my neighbor and every other tax payer. Well I say no to that. Forcing the hand of the developer will make them say fine I just won't build, who does that hurt? Everyone in the trades and people who can afford to buy a house without expecting it to be cheap. Give your head a shake man, or ask yourself this, would you sell your house for 80% of it's value so someone could afford it ?

Plowing lanes all over the city for what 6 people that ride bikes in the winter. Great waste of money. Typical city of guelph mentality. Spend money on stupid things

At least your street gets plowed
1
Half the streets get plowed maybe twice a year if they aren't major roads yet these idiots think it's great that bike routes are plowed only to be used by a select few, scam Guthrie buying cyclists votes
Sidewalks work fine
