TD says all the right things in their advertisements. This is an example of passing the buck.Shame you TD. I had a similar experience with another Canadian bank.Corporate greed is always first, Custoemrs second.
As a relative new comer to Orillia, there is a lot to love here ( waterfront, parks, rec centre etc) but there are also many problems (crime, addiction, homelessness, poor roads, poor snow plowing. etc). The price of rentals here and the cost of food is far too high. Not really sure if anyone really has a plan to fix this issues but I will do my research before casting my vote .
Let's get real, Orillia is facing an epidemic of synthetic drugs that is destroying minds, causing crime and poverty. Most of the homeless are drug addicts and dealers. If they are NOT on drugs they should be given priority as there si actually hope for rehabilitation and integration and maybe even working and paying taxes again.
The Lighthouse is a wonderful facility . However half of the money they receive from taxpayers etc goes to wages. (Roughly 2.5 million out of 5 million). That seems excessive. Poverty in Canada has become an industry. IMHO, the old charity based system was better. I would like to see some statistics about how many people get reintegrated into society as tax paying citizens . Otherwise is a wonderful soup kitchen.
WW, I agree. Every new CEO says the same buzz words. I don think the emergency wait times are done on purpose but it is reflective of a system that needs radical change and efficiency improvements.
I should add there majority of the people that work there are volunteers. So there is some pretty high paid executives. If you are getting well paid to do a job, there should be more transparency . What exactly are they achieving ?
This should be one of the priorities of any school board.Children who have been bullied can be scarred for life. Bullies also can be affected in. negative way. It's just wrong.
As a senior citizen, I have had some recent visits to our local hospital. Generally my experience has been positive. There are many wonderful people working there and they do get the job done.Could there be room for productivity improvements?Yes. There always is.
