Nobody came to my door, I never saw them out looking for signatures. Not a great time of year for it either.

They do seem to be constantly hiring the type of people to handle these positions.Without any idea of which positions they're having troubles with for these events, it's a hard guess, but perhaps these would be positions that could be re-evaluated for summer youth placements.
