172 for 1 is an accident waiting to happen. Make it a full scale 4 lane roadway. CANADA doesn’t have a 4 lane highway that goes coast to coast and Ontario has one of the longest stretchs of roadway that is only 2 lane. Embarrassing

OrilliaMatters 7Bite the bullet and 4 lane from Manitoba to Parry Sound and North Bay. The 2+1 does not work. Tried it in the 1960’s between Barrie and Orillia and we called it the suicide lane, many deaths.

OrilliaMatters 2I think the government needs to review the 2+1 they used between Barrie and Orillia in the 1960. We called the middle lane the suicide lane and for good reason. Ontario should step up and complete the 4 lane in northern Ontario so we can have a 4 lane highway across CANADA
