Did anybody reading these comments vote for Doug and are willing to justify your continued support of him? Or do you just vote blue until you are blue in the face? His leadership has been a disgraceful scourge on this province and its people.
Moffat Street is rough enough without snow, but this year has been abysmal for snow removal on it. I am certain both of our vehicles will have premature suspension issues as a result. Maybe I will run for council someday, because this is shameful. The mayor made lots of comments about 100% compliance over the last few months... one look out the kitchen window confirms that is objectively incorrect. Do better.
I laughed at the 5m and 100% compliance statement - it is simply incorrect. Take a drive down Moffat St... We put ourselves at risk every time we pull out of the driveway!
Hmm I wonder why? Thanks Doug!I don't even bother watching sporting events with my son on account of all of the gambling ads that they are riddled with. Our priorities are so backwards these days...
I don't think it's fair to call us whiners when we literally risk an MVA pulling out of our driveways, or see an elderly person pushing their walker down the road because the sidewalk is impassable. Maybe you prefer the status quo, but we can certainly do better!
Max. 20m from road to entranceway means this won't be possible on a lot of properties - I really think they should re-think this stipulation. Most candidates would want to do this in their 'back 40' which, with this provision, makes it impossible unless you have a shallow/wide lot...Good intentions, horrible execution, as per usual.
