30I totally agree with Adele Lemaire. As someone who uses the trails almost daily, they can be scary. The section from Forest Ave to downtown is exceptionally bad. The trash, hazardous waste and stench is terrible. You don’t know if you are going to be approached by these individuals so it leaves a very uneasy situation. Something definitely needs to be done.

OrilliaMatters 5A big mistake to stop charging for parking at our beaches. On the weekend I walked through the park and to my dismay there were bbq fires, tents and lots of garbage. No by law staff were noted. These people were not residents of Orillia so the taxpayers are paying for cleaning up all the garbage Please reconsider the $50 charge for non Residents

Orillia rebrands Brian Orser Arena as Gill Street Community Complex
OrilliaMatters 9Who made the decision to rename this building if it was not council? It was named Brian Orser arena in honour of Brian and his Orillia connection. It should not have been changed without some community input.
