What does his insurance say... that is the bigger issue.

Go downtown - every morning crews are there cleaning... garbages emptied daily... washrooms at museum/ splash pad cleaned... needles picked up. The old tunnel under the tracks gets cleaned sometimes 3 times a day. Underground parking gets cleaned everyday.. multiple times... open your eyes

I have been to many communities where these are great. I have concerns on this one due to the number of logging trucks that utilize it. Look at Mattawa for example...

Paying scabs more then what they offer their own workers. I would be scared of what kind of training these drivers have... hopefully someone checks. Where did they all.come from?

The motion won't pass because it oversteps and is just a campaign ploy. Narrow the motion to what is within councils authority and stop campaigning.

Sounds like another Greenbelt deal...

Agreed.. its a great location... even an out door covered rink would be good. West Ferris arena is a totally different engineered structure then memorial gardens and so I don't think you can compare them- barrel roof, the location of the dressing rooms and the failing foundation probably in part to it being in Ferris just dont compare..

Its a decision on pecuniary interest... Running for mayor...currently a councillor sits on board for non-profit and alleges that concern about selling castle arms. Is he representing city or ? Where does he expect shortfall to come from with South Algonquin that he excused? What is the issue with having Castle Arms fall under Cassellholme... all municipal and not for profit. One management system and one board makes sense.

A simple google search shows it was approved in 2024.. with the Conservation authority approving it on July 3 2024. One homeowner in the area even responded to the approval. Reports to council etc are all available for anyone to look up.

I challenge people to read the integrity commissioners report. There is no pecuniary issue because the motion was about governance. . It says it may be an issue down the road. Lowery retired from Cassellholme.. became executive director of Castle Arms... the split in governance was mandated...however he was paid as executive director by Castle Arms... its semantics to say no pecuniary interest... at this time. He should not be reimbursed. READ THE REPORT

Who requires it for emergency services... not the city of North Bay. Let them who need it pay for it if they need it. Pretty fishy that an international flight school is moving here to use our airport and we can't afford the airport.

Forwarding emails to your spouse to preserve them just this guy's lack of intelligence. No wonder he got demoted. There are lots of ways to preserve stuff without leaking it to the public

Councillor Moreton from the township of Calvin is the vice chair of Conservation Authority Board.. as well several other municipalities have members on the Board. The members of the Board have three members of the North Bay City council. The other 9 spots are from other municipalities. Is the article saying the Board was not consulted and nobody but North Bay and the Authority knew about this? Did the authority act on its own to liquidate an asset before the province restructuring the authorities across the province? Where is the investigation into the story... there are way more people to interview then Mitchell?
