So let me get this straight City Hall and city Council knows we’re not to buy a house but the rest of us don’t. That makes a lot of sense.

It’s a shame that somebody’s Dream has to to be paid for by taxpayers. I Wish I could charge all my fantasies and dreams to the taxpayers of Guelph

This building will become a nightmare if they do not put Substantial parking in the building.. Just last night, We entertain two couples for supper. I live Five minutes from The site of this Potential project. My Guest had to park Approximately Eight minutes from my condo. There is Very little parking downtown. And with City Hall Discussing building across the street from the police station another building eliminating another parking lot. I would like to know where they’re going to park. As of right now there’s not enough parking for policeman when they arriveto work. They’re using the parking lot by the boathouse, which is at least a five minute walk. If The city planners are going to continue to building they must figure out a better Transit System And where all these car’s are going to Park .And you don’t need parking just for the residence you need parking for their guests.. And let’s not forget the River run centre and The Sleeman Centre Need tremendous amount of parking

The fact is what they spent on the police station they could’ve built a new station in that parking lot. But the city ruled that out claiming tht land was contaminated.. so instead they spent tremendous amount of money and a lawsuit renovating the station they’re in. Did this land magically clean itself.. due to the cost of all the mistakes they’ve made plus building a library that nobody really wanted . Then it three years to do construction on York Road .Now they want to build a building with 400 units and only 95 parking spots directly across the street from this building. And then eliminate any park in the downtown if we do not switch the mayor And council in November. We will definitely be going into bankruptcy just like that other small town up north..
The UNIVERSITY OF GUELPH is very fortunate to have land to build student housing. The students should live where they go to school instead of spending, tremendous hours travelling back-and-forth it’s had to believe they will not replace those trees when they are a are a horticulture veterinarian school . this will create jobs and bring more money to Guelph win win win for everybody.
