What changed since 2007 when this Act was brought forth has a permanent protection of our collective environment from unscrupulous developers? Ah yes, an unscrupulous developer supporter is our Premier.

OrilliaMatters 19"Red tape" is in place to stop developers from doing something stupid, whether that may be to ensure protection of the environment or ensuring a safe construction. Yes, overlapping jurisdictions can be burdensome towards getting a permit, but most regulations and 'red tape' are there for a good reason. However, King Ford's notion is that anything that stands in the way of his developer buddy's rip and tear plans has to be eliminated for the sake of personal profit.
