Speeder caught in active construction zone

That was not an "active construction zone" at 3AM. Half of the time none of these construction zones are active even during the day. The companies working in these zones will be gone for days without taking down the 70km/hr signage. Under Ontario guidelines, road workers should remove or cover temporary construction and slow signs (or open the lanes) if active work has stopped and no physical road hazards remain. Leaving unnecessary restrictions up breeds driver frustration and disrespect for safety signs.
