I'm so sick of the ignorant responses that lay the blame on our southern neighbors and refuse to recognize that our government has failed Canadians. The largest economy in the world is restructuring to avoid the demise and collapse of the USA. Economic collapse of the US would destroy western society and culture. ( look around your own city ) The US debt went from 37T to 38T in just 2 months. This is not sustainable. Canada and China are the ONLY 2 nations that have not secured agreements, why is that ?

The legacy media has completely led you astray from facts. Those words reflect exactly the opposite of truth. I suggest turning off the news and start observing for yourself. How many homeless were there 10 years ago ? How was the economy doing ? How long were the wait times at the ER ? Things have worsened, not because of US actions, but rather our governments in actions.

Canada is not a communist country and I am well beyond asking the government to more actively surveil it's citizens. and as a resolve, the liberals are bringing in new laws to prevent us from stating the obvious truth we are seeing with our own eyes. Who will decide what's considered a hate crime ? Worth noting, Christians are NOT mentioned as a religion needing equal protection. I guess the church burnings of the last few years are not considered a problem.

An equally concerning pattern is people distracted ( including many adults ) while walking/crossing streets. I've observed a young lady walking in to a 14" telephone pole while on her phone. I've had adults cross the road without even looking the flip me off for honking. If you're going to complain about drivers, address the morons that haven't learned how to cross a road !

replying to "display name" : Reality is the exact opposite in regards to inflation, 2020 was 1.4%, 2021 inflation jumped to 7%, 2022 it was 6.5%, 2023 it was 3.4% and 2024 ( trumps reelection ) it fell to 2.9% and currently running near 3.1%, 9 months under Trump and it's looking brighter.
