The mayor should and must hold himself to a higher standard than “what the working class are thinking”.

Oh my goodness, these poor people:( Truly addicted people won’t be able to wait to get these drugs tested….that’s the nature of addiction. Why would ANYONE want to harm these poor souls just to make some money? Be humane, people!

Oh boy. Our tax dollars cover surgery for Canadians who cannot seem to control their food addiction habits; addiction is addiction. If we hide everyone addicted to alcohol/drugs inside properties they own, will that make everyone feel better if they don’t have to see these societal problems?

Wow, these comments. All are humans…children, addicts, everyone. No one life more important than the other.

“An existence equal to”? That’s a fairly philosophical fragment. Being part of the human race, OF COURSE the homeless have an existence equal to property owners.

Here we go! Typical two groups emerge AS USUAL:1. “Oh no, stupid school board cancelling school busses and closing schools to keep children off dangerous roads!”2. “Stupid school board. Why AREN’T they cancelling school busses and closing schools to keep children safe?”If you’re not the one tasked with making these decisions, stay silent.

Even more ridiculous that it doesn’t come from the parents themselves. Parents think it’s a good idea for their children to bring their PHONES to school with them? Absolutely ridiculous. Parents and children alike whining that the cell phone helps with the child’s “anxiety”. Seriously.

Workers’ rights are human rights. Hopefully these workers achieved financial respect.

My husband and I tracked how much we spent on carbon tax every time we filled up our vehicles over the course of a year. Compared that with our carbon tax rebates for that year and guess what? We were further ahead financially paying the carbon tax and getting the rebates. And that’s for a $250 000 combined household income!
