Please folks….Know this…the hospital, family docs, travel grants…they are all in the Provincial domain. The Municipal Government; our Mayor and Councillors have nothing to do with the hospital. If you want excellent public health services, Vote out Conservatives. The Conservatives, especially Ford, are in the pockets of Private Health Corporations.

…like maybe it is not a great place to build your home on the river. Maybe it is time to alter the permit process in the area so that If you want to build on Flood Plain, you need to augment the location with adequate fill and infrastructure. Nothing new here. The Goulais is a beauty from a drone, those twists and turns, challenging to paddle, but maybe it is just not wise to build your family home on a flood plain.

Do people know what “carcinogen” means?I think not. The Alcohol Lobby is massive and it rules. Fact: it is the regular consistent everyday alcohol consumption over time that underlies disease, from cancer to dementia. You don’t have to black out or binge to be damaged. No one wants to believe it. It’s true. Carcinogen=Toxic There is no safe amount.

It is hardly “in the city”. Yates is an industrial area!

We remember Monsignor Hutton for your dedication and service to thousands. The Telecare service was ahead of its time and showed the way forward for countless other Help Lines. My Mom was one of those early Volunteers. She never spoke a word about the calls, she took the Confidentiality pledge seriously. This is the critical basis for success…a confidential listening ear.

Wow. Thank you very much for this excellent report. Who is reading this? Allan Bisset I’m on your team. There are all kinds of hires in various Ministries who have no work experience, maybe a degree but no demonstrated experience in the area they manage. Healthcare is ripe with these hires. Is the Federal Government aware or concerned with the issues here?

Sunnyside Beach Road is currently zoned Estate Residential. It was Korah/Prince Township in past. The City took it over at some point. According to many, including former Counsellor Frank Manzo, now deceased, the road was never intended for year round residences due to adjacent Provincially Significant Wetland. And now….??

Dedication and Duty! And an official Lunch break every day. You could set your watch by the hours she kept. On occasion, when we were kids, she would let us swing that long handled massive stamping tool. Challenges from childhood illness affected her feet and legs but that did not stop her from hauling those mail bags and getting everything done that needed to get done. Extraordinary work ethic. Excellent memory. Fabulous laugh♥️

It’s about time! I love the community mail box. Safe and secure delivery of mail and parcels and a close by mail box to send out.
