I understand Spirits Canada fighting for their members and wanting US products back on the shelves, but it seems to me a 20% drop in overall sales of alcohol isn’t a terrible thing for people - maybe some are realizing cutting back is a good thing. And yes, I drink. (mainly beer).
I don’t think the public is content, but some of the trucking companies seem to be fine with losing drivers that way (and/or putting the public at risk). It reminds me of how mining was 100 years ago, when deaths were just a part of the job.

City manager John Collin said staff were not aware of the email.” Did no one at the meeting think to ask/suggest that they review the actual email?
Prepare for long lineups at these lights at certain times (morning rush/school buses, Wednesday night races) and sitting at a red with no traffic in sight. Another set of lights on a highway 🤔. Why are roads always an afterthought here?
