Conservatives call for change in mill closure's wake

10There must be an election coming up.They do this every time.We vote for them again and again with the same results. Always blaming the other party, always during an election. We vote for them again and nothing changes. If our leaders can't admit when they are wrong, they will just keep making the same mistakes. This town has been like this since the 80's, that I've noticed. Some of us made a lot of money selling off the resources instead of processing, selling off our businesses to our competitors and watching them close our mills one by one.But some of you gained a lot of wealth, while your community suffered. It's time for a change, if we want to keep this town alive.

PrinceGeorgeCitizen 1Saw this coming for over 30 years. American companies couldn't compete in business or in softwood policies. So instead they started buying up and closing mills. John Rustads family made millions off selling out and all still voted for him. This isn't the industry you want but it's the one you voted for. The majority of people will blame the NDP because for some reason this always happens before an election.

Short term gain for a few contractors, who will make money off this and the rest of us watch as everything becomes more expensive for it. Yet we keep voting the same people in.
