I wish things would change. I've been homeless for over 2 years after a 9 month coma. I don't touch drugs and have the odd beer after dinner but I can't get ahead. ODSP gives me a few dollars more than welfare, and they tell me to find a place first, THEN they'll kick me a few extra bucks. NO ONE is going to trust me unless I walk in with all the rent. Nobody cares about me anymore. I have Cancer, stage 2 renal failure, an ostomy, liver disease and a heart pump. All I was offered was MAID...
