I haven’t agreed with Fords policies in Ontario at all but l am in full agreement with this. Any other existing agreements with the USA should also be carefully examined and canceled where at all possible. Stop all future business or Provincial purchases from the USA. This war we did not instigate or ask for but one that must be won.

Can you explain to us peons…why the LTC facility in Trout Creek is not under construction? After all the Lady Isabelle Nursing Home was closed in 2017. The North Bay Area did lose 65 LTC beds. It has caused much angst at the NBRHC. You said you are working very hard to correct this? The developer is a buddy of yours. There are 1,150 people on the waiting list for a LTC bed in North Bay (July 31,2024). This is your riding? Or is a Terrific Toronto Traffic Tunnel more important?

How does one deal with a bully? I have a mental picture of Trump with a broken nose. Trudeau should have sucker punched him. It would have caused quite a scene at Mar a Largo and done nothing to foster any future CAN/USA relationship but it would have bonded Canada together better than any anthem or flag. Peace and love from your northern neighbour. Anthems, pins, hats and flags are for the insecure.

In July 2017 the North Bay Area lost 65 LTC beds with the Lady Isabelle Nursing Home closure. Those beds have yet to be replaced. The NBRHC has been treading water ever since. We are an aging community. During that time frame a Casino was completed and someone designed two new arenas (one was shaped like a Y). The City’s share of the Casino profit spent to fund…the new arena. Neither the Province, or CNB the care to address this bed shortage. Perhaps we should all think about that when we receive our 200 dollars from Mr. Ford. Vic Fedeli our Minister of Industry for Ontario has said he is working on this LTC problem re: Trout Creek. Seven years…no shovel in the ground come on, eh?
