Elora soldiers joined the Union Army during the American Civil War
GuelphToday 5My brother was extremely interested in the Civil War at an early age as our great-grandfather Stephen Hadfield served with the 53rd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. In 1957 he created a website for the 53rd in the hopes of trying to locate all the Civil War Veterans who are buried in Canada. Stephen Hadfield is buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Guelph, Ontario. He was instrumental in helping The Guelph Civic Museum with their "Guelph Connection to the American Civil War" display on January 25, 2013

The politics of snow removal are bad for the City
