My brother was extremely interested in the Civil War at an early age as our great-grandfather Stephen Hadfield served with the 53rd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. In 1957 he created a website for the 53rd in the hopes of trying to locate all the Civil War Veterans who are buried in Canada. Stephen Hadfield is buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Guelph, Ontario. He was instrumental in helping The Guelph Civic Museum with their "Guelph Connection to the American Civil War" display on January 25, 2013
It has been an unusually heavy snowfall for the first time in many years! We all should do our part to help neighbours if able. Mostly, I want to thank all the snow removal crew in the City of Guelph for the great work they are doing and have done this past winter. Don’t complain folks. This too shall pass.
Honestly it looks like something out of a horror movie! Or a concentration camp right now! I do think it should be renovated and the Catholic Church foot the bill.
Would this bylaw apply to apartment balconies? So many nice summer evenings are ruined by massive blinking lights everywhere! Christmas is an exception yes, but all summer long? Evenings on balcony should be much more enjoyable.
