Canadian Armed Forces complete successful exercise in Mattawa and North Bay
BayToday 6They seem to neglect how they did similar exercises in Goderich which included Military Wellness checks. When the emergency measures act is put in place the Military can be called upon to aid local law enforcement, this can not be done beforehand. Remember the Freedm convoy? You may not agree with those who protested in Ottawa but you can’t pretend the courts found that it was not worth of the emergency measures act. I get quite concerned when the Guv uses the Military against law abiding Canadians. M heart goes out to the young reservists who are just following orders and get caught in the middle. What’s next? Invoke the emergency measures act to aid in the gun buyback program that even Canada post won’t touch.

BayToday 14You are not alone Brother, I too suffered continuous physical abuse from a previous female partner. When I mustered the courage to call the Police after such an episode, they convinced me not to pursue changes because she was a foot shorter than I, even though they could clearly make out the welt on the back of my head from the vice-grips she struck me with while I had my back to her and was on the phone. Kudos for coming forward and sharing you intimate items so other too may follow.

BayToday 3Omg thank goodness no one was hurt and the two vehicles in peril were good at defensive driving. Clearly things need to change in licensing of transport drivers. I’ve been told that some trucking companies in the GTA can pay a fee to “train” and license their own drivers? I’m so glad this person was caught for this unacceptable, needless and unnecessary potential collision. There is a reason they aren’t called “accidents “. A few years back I had a car do the same thing to me coming in Sturgeon Falls, I had to take the shoulder as did the OPP cruiser behind me… just WOW.
