I can enjoy patio lights, campfires, and the fireworks a little earlier.If they keep DST, and the sun doesn’t rise until 9 in Toronto in the winter, then what time will the sun rise in Sault Ste Marie and Thunder Bay. We have one big time zone, here in Ontario.

19Maybe it’s time to audit. Everything. Look at the wages. What percent of the money goes to wages? 66 swimming pools? How many swimming pools in Sault Ste Marie schools? How much money is spent in different areas of the province? Cut out music? Well then cut out sports, too. It seems the first thing to cut is music and then art. We can’t blame Ford for all of this mess. I seem to recall Wynne leaving a huge mess for the next guy to fix.

SooToday 36The best they could is not very good. Why, when we get our first snowfall, are the roads not plowed closer to the curb? That is one problem. The roads are made narrower after the first snowfall. Secondly, why when the roads are plowed, is there a windrow left that goes across the roads that intersect? I don’t ever remember that a few years ago. Maybe some of the crews need to be trained. This city needs more equipment and it should not be an added cost to the taxpayer. Stop all the unimportant studies. Stop all the ridiculous spending on unimportant stuff.

It gets a little tiring hearing the same silly remarks. It’s a storm out there and the less people on the road the better for those who HAVE TO BE on the road.
