That is a lie and political ploy to get Liberals in power again to further destroy Canada's economy. They had 8 years to get our economy going before the tarrifs hit, how can they be trusted to get economy going with tarrifs ( and with the same characters making the decisions that got Canadians pockets empty in past. Only one politician is talking about getting our resources out of the ground or pipelines to sell around the world our resources to get us jobs and infrastructure we need.

His approval rate is only going up lately, because he is spending even more of our money for promises to certain gullible segments of society, and his immigration policies bring in more voters he has made promises for with our money. He has forgotten everyone else.

Good because a change to building code to force EV charging capability in new home builds would add thousands actually to price of housing at a time when we need lower costs. EV mandates in 2030 or earlir will be cancelled by UsA and Canada and many European countries, due to cost impacts on infrastructure and truths about battery mining impacts.

Bicycles are costing the public a lot. Maybe there should be a license fee and plate required, to help pay for bike lanes and help identify red light runners etc ?

Uranium travelled Algoma ( and mining jobs ) from 1957 to 1990 without problems, and Blind River still has a highly respected uranuim enrichment plant. Stop the silliness of exaggerated concerns.

Until there are far more Republicans that start pushing back publically on Trump's wild ways, and his rhetoric stops, they are not getting a nickel from me, and vacations will be anywhere but USA for next 4 years.

Unfortunately despite this being the only major escape from under Trumps impact on all of Canada , there is a whole segment of society that likes to block these projects. Consultation that will take years and millions in handouts , so the private sector investors will evaporate. Just once wouldn’t it be nice if all Canada’s peoples would pull in unison to get us thru this economic nightmare.

Would the businesses in the States admit if these were occurring? Probably not because would slow down further the business. And why would anyone eport these incidents to Canadian police that have no jurisdiction over there.......

The story is missing the most important piece of info.........what is the average annual tax bill these folks were paying, and what will they then pay after increase. Because if they are paying $1200 in past and being asked to pay $2000 they are still far below Ontario rural average. But if they are paying $4000 and being asked to pay $7200 then you have a story that has Ontario support.

You can bet that small fires that never would of made the news in the past will be reported this year to keep the narrative going. Crisis narrative sells media.

Those folks pay taxes, to support all our infrastructure, if detour is cumbersome time wise eg over 15 minutes extra, rebuild the bridge.

Invasive plants must be eradicated , this is most examined scientific way to do it. Unless of course you want to volunteer your time and energy to walk the millions of acres of bush and pull them by hand. .....didn't think so ! Glysophate has been used by farmers for many many decades. It does the job safely.
