Some are and some are not. Mega Americans really should think twice before crossing our borders. They do not spend their money here, they buy all their stuff States side. Gas, food and boose. They might fill up here for gas and then off to their lodge. I say check every damn car and truck coming into Canada. Make it known we do not support their new king Donald Trump.
What about senior discounts? Seems to me we are forgoten in this venture. We live off a pension that hardly covers our daily needs. So now the city wants to add more payments so we cannot enjoy the marina in our old age. Shame on you Thunder Bay.
And there you have it. A solution for one is not a good solution for others. Guess someone should rethink all of this before the south core becomes a ghost town and the only things moving down there are the homeless. Thunder Bay you can do better!!!!!
Not exactally someplace I would use as a staore front. Its more geared to industry so why not expand the process there and keep the store front open in the downtown core where you get more people walking by.
I am a dog owner and always like when people ask if they can pet my dog. Have a very gentle dog I most often say yes. My problem is when my dog whats to jump up for that last pet. Always afraid the dog will scratch someone, big or small. Having control of your dog is number one when out walking your dog. That lady dog owner should not own a dog. They say there is no bad dogs, just bad owners. Hmmm, I wonder in this case. Hope they find her and give her a big fine.
The Ontario government is investing nearly $4 billion to bring access to reliable high-speed internet to every community across the province by the end of 2025. This is the largest single investment in high-speed internet in any province, by any government in Canadian history. One would think with so much given to Tbaytel they could give their customers a better rate. At the very least a student and seniors discount.
When I was a young lad going to puplic school I walked 4 city blocks with all the other kids in my neighbourhood. We all managed to get to school on time in rain and snow storms. We even went home for lunch as most moms did not work back then. Going to highschool I walked 6 city blocks during grade nine. No one ever died walking to school. Stop putting our kids in a bubble and they will grow up to be a better person.
And if you walked around Kakabeka Falls many people were outside with their kids and a bon fire going during the day and no noe got fined. If your going to put a fire ban in place it needs to be inforced.
