My cousin waited 48 hours in Emerg here in Sudbury on a stretcher for a bed over a month ago.. Sepsis infection also.. almost didn't make it..Asked him if he wanted DMR on his chart. Thats how bad it is...Wait times are unacceptable.. Build a hospital never mind an arena..
Not disagreeing.. but who is going to re-route these individuals to the clinics.. Not the hospital staff.. all these organizations and no one seems to be able to control it...
One of the issues is that contractors build what they think is a bungalow starter home at $599,000Check out the Valley for examples.. there are no new $400,000 starter homes.
The only time you hear from Sudbury's BIA is when they want something.. I expressed a concern in 2015 to them and the Chamber of Commerce about making pamphlets for tourists so they know what is available downtown for shopping etc. It fell on deaf ears because someone had to pay for it..As a business downtown , you have to spend money to make money. So simple but difficult with present BIA management..
Why is it that everyone blames staff (nurses) for the finance problems and shortage of workers? It seems that jealousy is a motive.. Go to school , get an education and try doing the job before being a critic. They get paid for what they know and do in a professional manner...
You fail to mention that the "vast" majority of these jobs are part time... Also, when I viewed them in the last couple of days, some of them terminated in January of 2026
