How on earth do you associate Trump, how about blaming Trudeau and Carney for their mismanagement of our government for the last ten or more years?

Wow, finally a concept for the times, go for it and put it on the fast -forward agenda, please don't listen to the NIMBY'S , this is highly needed right now. And this proposal I'm sure will have some flaws but work with it, and get the best people, not any city council stay with the pros.

I remember when they had the men's side and the women and escort side, when first dating my husband in 1959 we would go to the W and Escort side and a lot of his buddies were in the other side, oh, those were the days. You could see how he would have liked to be on the other side , lol.

In it's day it was a beautiful hotel; I had my wedding reception there in 1960 as did a lot people it was the place to have any function at the time. however, there wasn't much to choose from in those days in Guelph. It was also a place to meet for a drink.

Well It's about "time" I can't believe in 2025 someone in this day and age in the world couldn't find a person that could fix this. I'm sure if you google it "How to fix a clock" there would be lots of people answering. Guelph again has a problem with priorities.

How soon we forget, remember the City Hall fiasco, For one, keep City Council out of making major decisions if they are asked. You need some traffic for deliveries and buses etc. How are businesses supposed run if they can't get their products delivered. This as it is now is a nightmare ready to happen, Yes by all means fix it up clean it up pay crews to keep it clean and safe but be aware of nut cases coming to city hall meetings, wanting a Ferris Wheel where the statue sits. Find the original statue and have it refurbished to it's original finery as a tribute to our past.

What's the point of storing it, why not have a big auction and make some money off of it to offset the costs at the LCBO, they could have sales to help the Ontario people?

Who pays for all this, the staff 24-7 the maintenance, the food and all the other amenities that go along with running a hotel like this. There are a lot of people out there who have worked all their lives and raised a family that could use some help and are living just on CPP and OAS and are getting up in years. When do they get some help.

Great, my friend and I have been waiting for this, we'll see you this week.
If more and more people chose surgery it will put the cost of these cute little ones will hinder their popularity., or will more breeding with surgery have future puppies with better breathing?
I recently had a reason to go out that way, and I was flabbergasted I had to pull over and compose myself, the site of those beautiful lands, I had tears, who is responsible for letting this area grow like an unkempt jungle. When I was a child after the war my family went out to those lands every week I swam there and we had picnics for years and when raising my own family in the 60s we did the very same, Shame on whoever is responsible for this travesty I know it be passing the buck to Prov. government to City of Guelph to private and no one will say. It's just one of things that get passed over because no one cares. We don't need a ghetto-like area just to fill some housing quota and bring it back to its beauty, I'm sure we have enough newcomers to this country that can work landscaping in exchange for homes in another part of this city
Many years ago that building had apartments in it I knew a family that lived up there, it was a very nice apartment, this was in the 50s.
Good choice to turn TD building into residential, living, I hope it is a lower income group for those who work but can't meet the horribly high rent costs.
Good choice, nice area, hope they don't run into any hold ups.
I agree with you see my reply, Maggipoo.
Who is "we", this is a private company.
It's nice for the car stealers that they now know where cars are parked without a lighted lot and no one for security in a field, you go thieves.
