Unfortunately this mayor has shown what I expected when he was voted in, not enough knowledge of running a city of our size ,along with a somewhat suspect members of council.I hope he has the good grace to inform the public about the real reasons for this outrageous decision.

Ridiculous from the city, a one week oversight. The way this city wastes money on some frivolous things they should be ashamed to see this in print.

Time for city council to put pressure on government parks department to return the monument. Also on the subject of parks , it’s time our parks department or maintenance department started cleaning up our streets and perimeter landscaping.

All the major roads in the city require upgrading, some are a disgrace, a priority I think.before other services.

It would help if a green arrow was installed on north bound west st in conjunction with the southbound one.

Absolutely ridiculous, this is our tax money the city and Mayor (in particular) has cost us .There can be no justification for this to be a confidential agreement after all the controversy. I think it way past time the Māyor and council explained the reasoning behind this original decision, and perhaps offer there resignation.

Council should not be changing existing bylaws. Perhaps have a fast track availability when required.

An immediate start to this initiative would be to have the landscaping around the city cleaned up . Over recent years the city owned land at junctions has deteriorated,do we still have a parks department?

The monument was paid for by taxpayers , like history itself it cannot change. We cannot erase wars or inventions etc that happen. Put the monument back.
