SooToday 15thats not the problem. its literally written in the article....the steel that algoma produces isnt competitive in the american market with the tariffs. doesnt matter if they are buying the raw materials at the price agreed upon. the issue is they are stuck with materials that are usesless since they can't sell the finished product back state side and the amount purchased is too much for them to sell realistically without access to the american market.
