I hope she too resigns when her motion is defeated.

Congratulations. Quite a milestone!

He asked for a report on how to reduce consultant costs and got one that said all consultant costs were justified. City staff need to start doing what they are instructed to by council resolutions. I support councillor Kinach!

How is it possible that the Board would not be aware of overtime costs and staffing levels until February? They are the governing body! Someone should resign!

As long as the emissions continue to decrease we should support them. It is frustrating to see those who earned a living because the plant existed now complain while collecting their teachers pension!

We are lucky you came to the Soo! Thanks for what you do.

The large amount of money the city is often over or under budget indicates a poor ability to properly estimate the cost of projects. This is not a windfall but rather an example of poor performance by staff. There is no savings but rather the cost was less than they projected and budgeted for.

It is also the law to have two people in the boat when pulling a skier or tube. Hope he was charged! I see this way too often, especially with jet skis. Why would someone put their kids at risk like this?

When will these councillors learn that trying to increase the population and downsizing parking and roadway lanes are in direct opposition to each other. Make up your minds! Which do you want? I can’t believe the consultant actually said not having enough parking downtown would be a good problem to have! Who hires these nuts?

Thank you for your service and for doing the right thing.

What a great story. Hooray for Elliot Lake and a big thank you to the Roger’s!

The city ranks as one of the most dangerous in Canada and our hospital recently ranked 13th worst in the province. Focus on the priorities! This idea of less parking and fewer lanes does not coincide with growing our population.

Sheehan has a long way to go if he truly wants to help reduce this community’s problems with crime, drugs and the homeless. Less talking and more action would be a start.

These advance notices of road closures are very appreciated. Thank you.

I support the elimination of trustees and hope the government goes even further and combines the various school boards. What a waste of money we have in duplication of service!

Maybe ask Prince Township. Theirs on Second line and Airport road have already been done. You can clearly see where the city limits start and end.

From these comments is appears people want to know more about the failure of the police Services Board related to their budget. The Board chair deferred most questions and promised to get back on many, including “how did this happen”! Please follow up on this issue of importance to the community. This is a massive failure that will cost all citizens and requires answers as to how it happened, who knew what and when etc. I would support a third party review as some councillors suggested.
