do you realize how much more you would be paying for everything if minimum wage was $30.00/hr? There are certain jobs that are only worth so much regardless of how good you are at them....... if business owners are forced to pay say dishwashers $30/hr an average night out will be $400......

No the under minimum wage jobs have been shipped over seas, there are plenty of middle income jobs available if you have the proper skills and work ethic. The problem is most now want a title and and feel entitled to starting out at $75000.00 a year..... I hire alot of people and the entitlement is the problem....everyone wants something for nothing

Typical political shenanigans, party in power saves you $.10, opposition says we would have saved you $.25, and everybody believes them...

if you work at Algoma Steel, and think you will never be on a layoff....your kidding yourself. The steel business at the best of times is cyclical.......This is definitely different with the EAF being pushed through a year ahead of time, but this was coming regardless....all it did was speed up the timeline.....

just because you cannot attend, even if you have the day off of work, doesn't necessarily mean you can attend, children, and family obligations are real. You can still take a moment of silence to appreciate and thank the men and women who fought for our freedom.
