I’ve had years of experience training hunting dogs and the way we teach them to not cower, shake, or hide from gun fire is to drop steel pots on a tile floor occasionally when they’re least expecting it. It gets them used to sudden loud noises. I’ve had dogs sit and watch the fireworks like people.
