How people can support the provincial conservatives given the state of our schools and hospitals is mind boggling.

Why are we printing this nonsense? You want Americans commenting on what we do with our buildings?Who cares?

How people support this government is beyond me given the state of our health care and education system.I hope you don’t get sick. Every healthy person (who hasn’t needed health care) is shocked to see the state of affairs when their health deteriorates.

I was thinking he was here to provide blankets, water, food, generators for the tens of thousands without power for one week.I’ll give him a credit. He’s a shrewd politician. People are suffering like never before and this guy is making announcements. I’d love a new hospital, but perhaps visit the surrounding townships where people have sewage in their basements,

This feels like the time when they introduced the roundabout in Ramara. A lot of complaints when we finally get around to doing what works everywhere else in the world.Give the new system a chance before you jump to conclusions.

Sounds similar to when the township actively solicited feedback on social media for water rates and overall budget in Nov 2024. Our neighbourhood submitted feedback by the deadline. Council voted on the budget. It was Then that we learned that the community feedback was provided after council voted. When I questioned whether the clerk, I was told not to worry. The feedback would be in the meeting minutes. I asked how they could be in the meeting minutes if they weren’t brought forward and discussed in the meeting. Either sloppy or shady. Take your pick!

So what are patients needing tests to do? Some offices in Barrie are closed too.Sounds like these jobs should be categorized as “essential”.Can you go somewhere else besides Lifelabs in orillia for lab requisitions?

“downtown Orillia’s vitality and economic health, part of what makes Orillia so special.”Downtown orillia’s vitality and economic health? Did I miss something? Not sure I’d agree. As for the location….it seems to meet the top 3 or 4 priorities.

$5 a month increase? The typical user is spending over $2100 a year on waste and water. This is expected to be approx. $3600 by 2032. Ramara has one of the highest water and sewage rates in the province. What the users want is an easy to understand explanation of why the rates are so high and what plans are in place to make it more affordable. https://ramara.civicweb.net/document/87850/Water%20and%20Wastewater%20rate%20review%20for%202024%20to%2020.pdf?handle=869340F0FA3C4BEA9DEFC87663ABF5DF

Haven't heard a word either from the mayor, DM, or local councillor. We have sewage in our basements! Lack of necessary backup generators on the sewage pumphouses.Get out and talk with and help your constituents.

The app has shown no available appointments for almost a week.
Correction- I believe it was Councillor Bell, not Fisher who voted to have the open house.
