To be fair, it’s time for the sunshine list to be pegged to inflation. It has been $100,000 for eons. What is the true comparative value to $100,000 in 1980, 1990, 2000 …?

'They got to do something' about deadly downtown intersection

Speed & distraction are a fatal mix. I find that Orillia drivers drive at or above the speed limit a lot of the time; 40=50-55 (Coldwater Rd) ; 50=60-65-70 (NB Atherley Rd). Tailgating constantly & passing dangerously and cutting off drivers.Suggestions for rumble strips may be useful, but enforcement needs to be amped up. I also suggest signs displaying a driver’s actual speed and cameras at bad intersection to help enforce limits & make drivers be more aware & careful. Further, show-boating (gunning engine, fast starts & tire noise, loud mufflers) seem more common at night in downtown when the bars close. Front St & Matchedash, Colborne, Mississaga, & Coldwater roads.

As someone who commuted for years (Toronto & Montreal). I recommend policies & choices that enable people to live closer to their work place and that they NOT accept commuting as normal. It wastes 2-4 hours of every day and costs $$$ (gas & transit fares) as well as adding stress on families & mental health.

So right about Bell Canada web site. It is focussed on selling & upgrading NOT on service to clients - som of whom have been c.ients for upwards of 50 years. Finding phone ##s hidden below all other options because answering phone calls means having TRAINED staff.
