13Exactly this^^ thank you, sorry I was not informed last year due to lack of community engagement.. these concerns being heard now about future centers is a massive afterthought on a huge misstep made last year. How disappointing and unfair.

SooToday 3Humans and wildlife deserve peace and quiet. People against the constant noise pollution JUST got a little slice of that peace and quiet, as a perpetual noise can drive creatures mad. The last thing we want is for noise pollution to return. It's not that hard a concept to understand. Ever cook with the kitchen fan on high and breathe a sigh of relief when the fan sound can be turned off? Like that.. on steroids. While ALSO generating actual pollution at the same time.

SooToday 3Exactly! I hope that Selva Rassiah is elected, not just an intelligent man but a motivated and compassionate person. We need change in the mayor, as our current mayor ran on the promise he would only serve one term. All those who dislike our current leadership have a golden opportunity to vote differently. Maybe we would not be so skeptical about the DC if the wool were not being pulled over our eyes, if you did not attend the meeting you likely wouldn't understand anyways. Our landfill is at max capacity, we need jobs sure but at what cost. There are better ways! There is no guarantee the DC won't expand to higher require more resourcess, and pushing things thru council without doing thorough due diligence is heinous. Anyone in favor of OR against this center should ALL want more details, additional information, facts not fallacies. There are many serious risks and draw backs, and we deserve transparency, an actual Environment Impact Assessment at the very least!!

LOL there are other displays at the museum and they are always nice to view. You can aven see Fragile Beauty while you are there too!! Sheesh, have a heart would ya?
