This is just the start. Canadians are going to be treated like the third world as we continue our mass immigration project. Good luck

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Canada keeps negotiating like this we are done. I think any country would be mad if you were asserting propaganda ads on their country. This was a very bad idea.

They call it a ramp to nowhere but the truth is it was a opening for another peice of equipment to go in. Most of this stuff is modular in design so likely all that will happen is all the modular areas will need something at the end.As for kids being confused by a ramp leads to nowhere is a bit of a nothing burger to me. I remember those areas as a kid and it's pretty simple, nothing to see here and move on to the next thing. I don't think any kids are standing there saying im confused and don't know what to do.

Terry youre asleep at the wheel while Carney drives the country off the ledge of no return. You'd think getting rid of steel tariffs by securing our boarder and improving our military would be your main priority. Guess not. What has resulted from Carney last meeting with Trump. Nothing yet eh... what a joke.

America has the first amendment that provides freedom of speech. America respects their own constitution... What is there to fear?

This is the mandate of the American people. It's time for Canada to pay for its own boarder and military. We need to fight the fentanyl coming through our ports, which affects our country and the Americans. If we work on our own issues and improve our country so we are safe and secure and the Americans will gracefully remove the tarriffs that we pay to subsidiize our defence.

Finally some progress to get costs down. Canada going to need to put some work in to get the steel tariffs down though.

When Harper was in government the steel mill was run by essar steel which was a east Indian company. Not much of their issues were happening when Harper was in government and came after when Trudeau was in his early years of running things. The issue back weh essar was running things is questions about steel going out the back door to India where it was finished there for additional profit. Terry likes to brag about his 25% steel tariffs that he and Trudeau put on India and China early on during the Trudeau era. People forget that our dollar was its strongest it ever had been during the Harper era. We were 1.06 American for every canadian dollar. We actually had advantage back then... Trudeau managed to crash our strong dollar down to 77 cents.

This paper seems biased with no input from the other side of the problem. Nobody who is cutting the trees or inspecting the environment was invited. Without a balance perspective, the bias will keep the average Canadian poor. Canada was built on natural resources and that will continue on in the future.

Low trust societys cost a lot to police. It's time to keep offenders in jail and not out terrorizing the community. If there isn't enough jail space build more asap as the money will just be spent elsewhere when you keep releasing the criminals.

Can we just stop subsidizing daycare? This is a poor idea that is just going to age even worse. What a nightmare

Pretty sure the average sooite is more concerned with their roads and safety then more vanity projects. Most of us are wondering if they're going to choose the downtown plaza as the location.Wanting your money to go elsewhere isn't having negative things to say, it's just having different priorities in life.

This is a manditory watch for every Canadian.

Its not brilliant though, its paying for propaganda in another country. How would the average canadian feel about a ad paid for by trump for 75m dollars that uses speeches from Jean Chrétien that talks about policy that mark Carney is promoting. At the fundamental level its meddling in other countries politics and the result is them getting mad. Things aren't always justified because you agree with just some small details with them. People need to think more universally.

You can either ride the trump train or get run over by it and so far Canada chooses to get run over by it. Is it really worth keeping our dairy and egg tariffs for Quebec when the rest of the country gets run over by 50% steel tariffs? It's time to put our elbows down and negotiate before there is nothing left.

I seen the lack of shade driving by the plaza and said, I'm never going to any event there period, it's just a place to cook yourself in the sun. When you live in the Sault with all our beautiful nature and shady places, it's hard to justify ever attending the plaza. This event would be better served multiple places with way more shade like the big trees near the locks, Bellevue park, the reberta Bondar Pavillion. The list goes on....

Interesting that people eye roll that consumer carbon tax didn't reduce the price of groceries. Anyone else notice that you don't pay any tax on your groceries unless its considered junk food or a luxury? Makes sense to me that taking that tax away didn't change our grocery prices much when you pay nothing on healthy food.

My vote would be leave government out of an organisation that's self running and self funding itself l.The mayor seems to think his tourism department is doing good yet from the eyes of the average saultite they barely exist.
