It doesn't matter where you are on the political spectrum if you are, firstly, a Canadian. I am grateful that Mr Carney became our Prime Minister for this time of economic crisis. During this time of nation building, I am really glad that jobs are a huge priority.
Congratulations to everyone who put their name on the ballot. Giving him kudos for all the federaI monies for our steel company, I hope Terry will serve us better in other endeavours than he has in the past. I voted for Carney.
Lloyd Robertson was to Canada what Walter Cronkite was to America, that one strong voice that spoke to Canadians with a resonance that denoted honesty and integrity. I miss that quality of video journalism.
You've gotta love the naysayers. Armchair critics who likely don't vote, certainly won't run, but offer no positive solutions to their many complaints. You would rather the City refused the provincial funding?
I agree with Ms Lambert's plea for each counsellor to ride the bus for a week.It may or may not lead to huge improvements in rider satisfaction, but at least the decision makers would have first-hand experience of our transit challenges.
Agnostics, atheists and people of other faiths would shrug off the article. But deliberate down votes are simply anti-Christian. It's sad.In my coffee group an hour ago, one person boasted about his down vote on this story which surprised us. Then again, he was the only one of the group that supported the Truckers Protests. Now that I've read the article , it frightens me that there is more than one of them out there that don't believe that others have the right to their beliefs. What can we do, as Canadian society, to minimize the recent years boldness of negative thinkers?
Those conservatives don't exist as a majority any more. The populists, who label themselves Conservatives, only use the principles of conservatism for political rhetoric to confuse the electorate.
I agree with most of your post. Most prospectors have hand guns for those reasons. It's just too bad that you had to ruin your message with a political jab.
