Poilievre and his magic 'axe' versus the curse of city hall

The fact that Poilievre is indeed a Trump wannabe makes me, a lifelong C not want to vote conservative.

Adam, may you always write Market Square. You get it and sum it up nicely for a majority of us (the residents and tax payers.)

Why does it take pressure from the public to do an about face on an issue that was an obvious wrong decision in the first place? I don’t understand this council at all. For RCM it must feel like pulling teeth to get financial help to continue doing the wonderful, much needed job that it does.

@soccermom, how about you give them the solution or ideas along with how it will be funded. I am happy for you that you became non homeless but always negating what supportive groups are doing isn’t helpful.

He’s as delusional as the guy south of us.

@ihaveanopinion Maybe not. I personally believe that Trump is very intimidated by women in power.

I believer her when she said sh3 didn’t realize there was a bylaw against chickens in residential areas. I too think Puslinch is country. For 10 years her family have had the pleasure of chickens a rooster and a duck with no complaints. One new neighbour and now it’s no more. This indeed does remind me of the Arkell bike lady saga. Seems senseless to me.

I wonder where they think these people if arrested will get the money to pay any amount of a fine? Just curious on that thinking.

I hope they get caught and have to pay the massive bill. 13 hrs. To fix for my area.

Is it possible to ask a real, honest question here? I would like to know why P.P. will not get security clearance. I don’t align with any party so I really would like to know. Facts not conspiracy theories or speculation. Anyone know?

What is the point of having an Integrity Commission if when found guilty of violating code of conduct, there is no penalty?

As I’ve never had to deal with bylaw, can someone explain why she cannot find out who complained? If the complainant feels justified in their complaint, why is their name hidden? As Mary said, she would like to explain to them what exactly she is doing. I’ll never understand the anonymous nature of complaints as then it is a free for all. Knocking on her door and explaining their concern seems a more mature option.

Musk and Trump are licking their chops now.

Do you have proof that they are not doing their jobs when they work from home?

Not everyone would have had a sense of humour about it. Good on you for just going with the flow.

My first thought was exactly that and the fact that he wants to be re-elected.

I don’t get how a convicted felon is allowed no matter who he. I know a man in his 70s that was turned away at the border into USA last year because of a 54 yr. old assault charge from when he was 18. One and only charge. Ridiculous.

My granddaughter was to start high school at this new school in Sept. 2022 or so everyone originally thought. If it actually opens on this new date, she will have already graduated from Centennial. So much for the high school within walking distance from home.

If there is infighting amongst your “charges”, you have lost their respect and some, most or all are not buying what you are selling anymore.

RCM’s track record speaks for itself. This whole issue reeks of non transparency and perhaps non truths.
