Council should just get out of the way , CarFax should make as good f deal as they can with Fahri for a big space need at the old but beautiful Westmount Mall . It May need renovation or a rebuild of some area but concentrating and insisting on our Downtown as the place to be in unwarranted . Act now before the tenant looks even further afield and London looses out completely .

Looks like Morgan's bent a knee and kissed the ring for a liberal position in future , indeed

The federal government is busy trying to stabilize Ukraine not local domestic problems , Even when it's clear the Liberal Trudeau government ignited the homeless problem by its actions and consequently the un intended

And BRT Is moving forward slow as molasses in Quebec in February , but they now Splain the current LTC SERVICE is loosing riders to cars and bicycles , And then at least 1 councillor suggests free or reduced prices to children , elderly , factory workers , students to western and Funshawe College . This is going to be fun to watch ; such as more empty buses rushing to White oaks with a few snoozing at the back of the bus that runs every 3 minutes

JIM , correct , we don't need 48 million dollar NEW Dundas street plan , and we dont need 11 new CITY HALL SPECIAL CONSTABLES ( 2 million dollar extra fund proposed by no other than mayor candidate du Jour mr MORGAN ) its getting to be a silly election season here in LondonBurg

Watch for councillors trying to run the LTC TO SUBSIDIZE THE BUS FARES DEEPLY to get bum in seats ( I mean paying customers ) not the other bums , sorry ,

Cathey is bang on , esp with the number of $125 million dollars for a "campus" as is thrown around by the current mayor . The next council will bring this up but for this election season it will be an avoided discussion .

Nimbyism collides with planning with weak council and we have another City council digested heated mess

Kill it now And it's so curious that ms . Frank supports these welfare building plans . But she follows the Morgan plan , keep a scoreboard of approved units to capture Provincial rebates . I bet they even counted the 60 sheds they brought in for the Cheese factory Rd Homeless corral as part of the build fast deal .

Cremation urns can be $100-$400 and the cremated remains can be buried in the bx and velvet bag that is common So the $11,000 is absurd and should more likely cover the cost to interring the loved ones remains

Pay day for the cities approved Tow trucks And Wow , try to get insurance after this

Finally a good news story on the homeless or under housed population It seems million dollars is found without it being Mayor M funnelling more tax cash into the homeless problem Yet ?

The whole thing is IF YOU are looking for a move but if you are in a rental apartment , your rent isn't going down WITHOUT you making a move , Post Covid apartment landlords / esp the big landlords raised rents plenty

remember this place houses 45-48 people BUT employs 24 support staff , I guess most expensive nursing home do not have such a HIGH RATIO to patient support and the lucky seniors pay $3500-6000 per month , do the residents in the building pay something like a rent or their welfare cheques back to the system supporting them ?
