The politics of snow removal are bad for the City
GuelphToday 8I agree. The snow removal on the streets is adequate. Sidewalk clearing is not, however..... I love standing on my nice clear sidewalk and looking up and down the street, and not seeing another cleaned sidewalk within eyesight. It should be your responsibility to clear your sidewalk. With the number of rental units around, the renters consider it the landlords responsibility. Kudos to the guy in the rental across the street from us, who has now started to clear his sidewalk, before the maintenance crew has come around. So sad. I remember when it was rare to see a sidewalk that hadn't been cleared, but now clearing your sidewalk is rare.
