Things might change when we start locking up drug dealers for longer sentences and charge them for murder when people fatally overdose. Put some teeth in our laws and let the cops do their job. Get rid of liberal judges and crown attorneys for a start.
That decision and should have been made BEFORE all those innocent lives were lost. A secondary highway is not designed for that amount of commercial truck traffic.
Axing the carbon tax will save the city millions of dollars in fuel costs alone that can be redirected to housing. It will also bring down inflation, put money back in the pockets of consumers and help stimulate the economy. Trudeau must go.
It appears that Singh has kicked the can down the road far enough to qualify for his gold plated government pension. To qualify for the MP’s pension, members need to serve six years, which for Singh will be in February 2025. Parliament resumes in late January.
A lot of people don't use or can't afford a cell phone so it leaves them out in the cold. It's like stores and restaurants that reward people with better deals and rewards for using their cell phone apps, but others cannot get the deals because they don't own a cell phone. The city should not discriminate against non cellphone users. Transit is a public service for everyone.
These colleges pulled off a massive cash grab off the backs of those students and at the same time created housing shortages and rental rates to soar in our communities. I am glad the government put the brakes on this nonsense. They should be penalized for the damage they caused.
Years ago I remember the flight attendant would bring you a beer and light your cigarette for you once the seatbelt light went out. Times have changed.
Why bother at this point says one trucker. “I can drive from from the GTA to the Manitoba border and never pass an open weigh scale.” We just wasted 30 million tax dollars on another empty CMV inspection station. Nice looking, but just as much of a joke as the old derelict truck inspection shacks. All bark no bite.
This was one of the "most popular" Facebook pages in northern Ontario during their time. They did a great job and I am glad this new group has stepped up to take over the administration of the page. Welcome!
