26The Champlain statue should be put back with him alone. The rest of the original could be rearranged and mounted else where with educational plaques. It is a great work of art and it is part of our history. I don't really see the arguments against. Failing that the circle is named after Terry Fox so a statue of Terry would be appropriate but much more expensive. LETS DO SOMETHING!

They handed the business to UPS and FedEx on their last strike and now they are going to hand them the little bit they have left. Frankly I see them as overpriced flyer delivery and everything I get goes in the Blue box so what's the point?

OrilliaMatters 3Good analysis using existing tunnels in Europe. He didn't mention Madrid which has major freeways under the city proper which takes most of the traffic out of the city center. Using that example tunnelling the Gardiner Expressway and the Allen would make more sense.

OrilliaMatters 2Buy back the 407 and make it toll free like the 401 will relieve a lot of the problem. People don't use it because the tolls are ridiculous. PS I use his route to Montreal and Ottawa. Beautiful roads with very little traffic, great route.

OrilliaMatters 1Pat really? Champlain arrived 1603, Residential Schools 1880. How could one have anything to do with the other? Put him alone back up or rename the Park and purchase a statue of Terry Fox. The plinth is ugly and embarrassing.
