OrilliaMatters 17This budget plan is appropriate. Cut where you can and fix the sewers and infrastructure. Ice storm is a prime example of how the city was caught with a fire and a one digester down. Huge issues for our sewers and potentially our water/. And stop hiring positions like the over glorified housing coordinator, the county has that under control, and lets look at the Leacock home and its huge financial; drain on our taxes.

She doesn't represent her ward well and appears antagonistic with one of Orillia largest labour employers, And her "lets shoot guns" within City limits to kill geese is another example of her total disconnect to the Sunshine city and the peaceful ways of Canadians. Very disappointed in her first two year run so far..

OrilliaMatters 11They simply do not do enough fundraising. NO municipal tax dollars paid by the tax payer should be used to support any non-profit. Tax payer money is for infrastructure end of story and Orillia needs lots of infrastructure improvements. Times are tough and donor fatigue is the new epidemic. Tyler, please report on what events they held and how much was raised in their last fiscal year please. Part of this story is missing and the taxpayers would like to know. Thank you
